From 21st to September 24th the 12th International exhibition for the tool industry “INTERTOOL Moscow 2009” was held in the exhibition center "Crocus Expo".
140 companies from Russia, Germany, Spain, Greece, France, Taiwan, China and Korea took part in the exhibition in 2009. More than 3500 attendees visited "INTERTOOL Moscow" during the four days of its work.
There was held the professional conference "Russian market of tools: Changes of the business strategies under the influence of the financial crisis”, organized together with the "Instrumenti" magazine of the "Potrebitel" series, the leading title of the industry. In the first part of the conference there was the presentation of Moscow Interregional Association of Chief Specialists. The conference dealt with such relevant topics as the consequences of the economic industry recession, business strategies of the world leading manufacturers in the light of the crisis, changes of range and presentation of low-end production, and so on. The conference program was completed by the presentation of Global Market Group, the international marketing company, which described in details the status of Chinese manufacturers of the tool market and proposed new methods of investing in China economy.
The conference was attended by more than 100 specialists, and the filled conference room once again highlighted success and effectiveness of the event.
Due to the efforts of the organizers: Reed Exhibitions and ITE, and “Expa Foundation”, the partner of the organizers , "INTERTOOL Moscow 2009" has become a business platform for manufacturers and potential buyers of exhibitors’ products like large and medium-sized wholesale and retail companies from Moscow and Moscow regions. The exhibition was attended by 171 buyers from the leading companies such as “OBI Russia”, “Castorama Rus”, “220 Volt", "Gedore Verktsoyge", "AlAnSO", "Zheldorremmash" and many others.
Throughout the exhibition, the participants actively used the specially designed demonstration area, Test Drive Zone, where they could demonstrate the developments of tool industry pilot projects in action. This platform provided an opportunity not only to appreciate visually production samples, but also test tools provided.
For the first time at “INTERTOOL Moscow 2009” visitors we able to buy various tools at special prices.
The exhibition was supported by Builders association of Russia, Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Committee on construction and land relations in State Duma of the Russian Federation, Moscow Association of Entrepreneurs, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei, Taiwan Hand Tool Manufacturer’s Association.
